Barbequed Beef Wonton Nachos

Barbequed Beef Wonton Nachos

Today on the blog we’re featuring one of our new lounge menu items that really benefits from a longer explanation.

This is your introduction to a great new lounge menu item: Barbequed Beef Wonton Nachos.

We take wontons, cut them into triangles and fry them until they’re crispy. They’re topped with 4 ounces of barbequed beef. Our barbequed beef is beef trimmings cooked in olive oil with with onion, garlic, bay leaf, cumin, beef base and blackening spice. The beef is tossed in our Southern Comfort barbeque sauce along with our five cheese sauce, shredded cheddar cheese and then melted.

We top it with Pico de Gallo and chopped chives.

A great drink to pair with this is the Eddie Merlot’s sangria. It’s summery and light and balances the dish nicely, pulling in that Southwest influence again.

We’ll be featuring new Lounge Menu dishes all week on the blog. The Lounge Menu is only available in the Eddie Merlot’s lounge during special hours, which varies by restaurant, but is mostly early evening and late night every day.

Enjoy – and let us know if you have questions.
