Father’s Day: Let us do the grilling

Why should Moms be the only one who get to go out on their special day? At Eddie Merlot’s, we know how to fix a great meal just the way Dad likes it. Come enjoy your Dad’s big day with us, and let us do the grilling for you both. It’s a lot less trouble, far cooler than slaving outside and you’re guaranteed it’s going to be a great meal.

You also have an unusual opportunity at Eddie Merlot’s: with our build-your-own menu for steaks and burgers, you can let him choose exactly how he wants his steak or burger. It’s a great option for the foodie Dad who loves to try new things.

This year’s menu suggestions for Dad are many. You can choose the best steaks money can buy, wagyu ribeye, that’s fork-tender. He can choose a terrific enhancement for any of our steaks, including Bacon Gorgonzola Cheese Crust, Truffle Butter, Foie Gras Slices, Stuffed Shrimp or Black & Bleu Scallops.

If Dad’s more of a casual guy, try a burger from our lounge menu (only available in the lounge). We’ve got some terrific new options on that menu, including our Peppadew Blue Cheese, which is Prime Beef, Onion Straws, Bacon Gorgonzola Crust and Peppadew Peppers, Devil In Blue Jeans burger, which is Prime Beef, Charred Jalapeno Pesto, Barbeque Sauce, Smoked Gouda and Onion Straws, our Johnnie Appleseed Burger (unlike anything you’ll find anywhere else – who else puts apples on a burger?), which is Prime Beef, Granny Smith Apples, Cheddar Cheese, Red Onion, Apple Dijon Mayo, and Foie Gras Stuffed Waygu, which is Ground Waygu Beef, Hudson Valley Foie Gras and Boursin.

Of course, as mentioned, we also have a build-your-own burger option, in which you choose what you want on it. The topping choices are many, so he can mix and match until he’s happy.

One note though: this may be a lot better than what you did for your Mom. Better make sure you don’t leave her out!

We accept reservations for any size party any day of the week. On Sundays, our lounge is open 4 to 10 p.m., and the restaurant is open 5 to 9 p.m.

Father’s Day is June 19, by the way.
