Our own Matthew Nolot won the Summit City Best Dessert prize recently in a fundraising event in Fort Wayne, Ind. His decadent desserts that took the prize were chocolate sea salt cupcakes with caramel corn icing and vanilla cupcakes with cotton candy icing.

The event is the Fort Wayne Summit City Chef Competition, a fundraiser for the Fort Wayne Children’s Foundation. The Foundation provides grants to organizations throughout the Fort Wayne area to support services for children, including organizations that prevent abuse and neglect of children and those that provide counseling for abused children.

We couldn’t be prouder of Matt. Congratulations, Matt!
